One of the original Resident Djs of Bodywork, Brock G also helps curate artists to fill the creative vision Bodywork has for the Las Vegas Community; creating a space for Queer and Counter Culture, chained together by the rhythms of underground dance music. DJing since 1997, Brock G combines a passion for raw, urban rhythms with a forward-thinking aesthetic for new and different sounds. Garage, Baltimore and Jersey Club music, Jungle, Hardcore, Electro, Ballroom, Techno, and House music in many forms; Brock G strings together fresh and innovative tracks as well as classics from a diverse range of genres within a single set to take listeners on a journey.
Brock was born just outside of Baltimore and was influenced by the club music the area is infamous for as well as the 90s Breakbeat scene of Orlando he spent his teenage years in. Brock took his Djing and curation to the next level after moving to Las Vegas in 2008. Through his sets Brock has helped expose Las Vegas to styles seldom heard there, including Club music, Juke/Footwork, and Ballroom, while also serving as an ambassador to figure heads of those genres. As part of production duo Brock G & Sisters, Brock has released remixes for genre-defying labels like System Records, Black Marble Collective and Wile Out.
