Ashe Cyrena aka A.C. Esme is a lifeblood to Vegas’ underground nightlife. She embodies a genre queer style as reflected in her music taste, personal life and parties she curates with Vegas-based discotheque Bodywork - named “Vegas' Best Club-Kid Collective” by LV Weekly. She draws inspiration from the likes of Avalon Emerson, T4T LUV NRG, LSDXOXO and #thegayz. She's a crybaby at heart and her vulnerability spreads to the dance floor as she shares her emotions on the decks. This vulnerability plus her ability to mix seamlessly across genres cemented her as a trusted taste maker for Vegas’ queer counterculture.
A product of a raver mom and goth dad, A.C. Esme grew up in Los Angeles in the 90's. There on the sweaty dance floors of warehouse raves she honed a passion for blending beats and making connections with music as the thread. These early passions have been deepened by the Vegas heat, bringing her post P.L.U.R sound full bloom. Persuader of eMotion and proponent of visceral indulgence A.C. Esme brings the body music. She pays homage to those roots at Bodywork where disco, house and techno reigns supreme.
She holds residencies at Oddfellows, AVN, Cheapshot, Area15 and Kinky Salon and has shared the stage with major players in the scene: Slayyyter, Shygirl, Alice Glass,Lauren Flax, Boy Harsher, Pixel Grip, Kim Ann Foxman, Ariel Zetina, Tokimonsta, Cakes Da Killa, MikeQ, Amine Edge and Dance, Bored Lord, Jubilee, Baby Weight, I. Jordan, Jensen Interceptor, Baltra, Pictureplane and notable parties A Club Called Rhonda, He.She.They and LV Pride Festivals. She’s been featured in Las Vegas Weekly, Desert Companion and Fab Vegas for her contributions to nightlife.
